Equipment

  • 1 Gugelhupf pan Ø 22 cm (2,2 L) OR cake pan (18-20 cm), lined with parchment paper

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas 300 g
  • ½ cup sugar 100 g
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup melted butter 65 g
  • 2 medium eggs
  • cup milk 95 g
  • cup all-purpose flour 230 g
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¾ cup chopped walnuts 100 g

Instructions
 

  • Turn on the oven for 175℃ (350℉). MODE: Upper and Lower heat. Prepare a cake pan.
  • Mash bananas with sugar using a fork.
  • Add eggs, salt and beat the mixture to combine.
  • Pour melted butter (lightly cooled) and milk. Mix to combine.
  • Add sifted flour, baking powder. Mix just to combine. Do not over-mix!
  • Gently fold chopped walnuts into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  • Bake 55 minutes – 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted in the center of a cake comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool 5 minutes in the pan. Then remove from the pan and let cool completely.
